A Bit More About Me

I grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts, went to college at URI where I studied English Language & Literature, Creative Writing and Studio Art. After college I lived for a summer in Newport, RI where I nannied and was a hostess for a local restaurant. From there, I moved to Hoboken, NJ and worked in NYC and discovered copywriting while working for Theory. I then moved to Brooklyn, NY and continued on my copy journey while working for Gucci. While in Brooklyn, I studied pastel drawing with a local artist and rediscovered my artistic side, and during this time I also got married.

Once my son was born, I found it difficult to work full-time and dedicate enough time to drawing still life and models, it's then I picked up my first DSLR camera and my life changed. For the past 8 years I have spent time learning everything I could about photography while simultaneously building my career as a copywriter and figuring out motherhood. I now live in Northern Westchester, NY and have two more children (daughters), and the desire to create has only grown.

I am excited to combine my two artistic passions into one spot and share my love of writing and photography with others.
